Dr. Cort is a Cuban-Guyanese-American Spanish speaker from Boston, MA. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University in Spanish (2005) and earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Emory University in Spanish Literature (2009, 2010). She lives in Washington, DC and is currently a full-time lecturer of Spanish at Howard University.
